HE IS NOT DOING ANYTHING
Tiles, a door with the light behind it, and a dog who has been in exactly this spot for an hour. Black fur is almost nothing to look at directly — a black coat returns about four percent of what hits it — so what you can actually see of him is an outline, a sheen along his back, and two eyes. Everything else is the door behind him doing the work.
